| Based on the headlight, this is/was Burlington Northern Railroad SW7 77 at Springfield, Missouri on October 6, 1994, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built in January 1951 as SLSF SW7 302 (c/n 10184) on EMD Order 4028, it became BN 77 (2nd). It is listed as retired in February 1987, but apparently stayed around a bit longer. The frame is stencilled for maintenance at Springfield (MO) and Birmingham AL. |
