Tom Beckett General That's the Hunterspoint Av stop on the No 7 Flushing Line. The trains leave the tunnel here after running underground from Times Square, taking to an elevated line until a couple of blocks prior to reaching the Main St terminus in Flushing. These are also sometimes referred to as the "Worlds Fair" cars, as they went into service in 1963, immediately prior to the 1964/65 World's Fair, which was held at Flushing Meadow Park, accessible from the Willets Point Blvd station-the location of Shea Stadium, also built for the fair, and home to the then expansion(1962) NY Mets. 3/12/2015 2:18:47 PM
