| SOO SD39 6241 at Bensenville, Illinois on September 9, 1987, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 6241 was built in October 1968 (c/n 34128) as MN&S SD39 number 41. Acquired in 1982 by the SOO repainted and renumbered 6241 shortly after, it was sublettered for subsidiary Lake States Railway in 1986, sublettering was removed in 1987. This locomotive was sold to Helm Financial in 2000. |
