| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 2-10-2 Class M-3 6300, date location, and photographer unknown, print by Tom Klinger, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 6300 was built by the Brooks Works of Alco in 1919 (c/n 59818), sold for scrap in July 1953. According to the CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet dated February 1, 1952, number 6300 was leased to the C&S. My best guess is the location is Denver and the date would be around the retirement date of July 1953. |
