Number 657 was built January 7, 1922 ( Lot 4625, Plan 2410F ), a 12-1 ( 12 Section - 1 Drawing Room ) sleeper named AMERENE, air-conditioning added April 7, 1937, re-built March 25, 1940 as a 8-5 ( Plan 4036F, 8 Section - 5 Double Bedroom ) sleeper renamed CLOVER CAMP, losing a vestible in the re-building, sold to the CB&Q December 31, 1948, repainted simulated stainless steel on April 9, 1954, sold for scrap to Northwestern Steel & Wire in September 1964. |
