| Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 2-8-2 Class O-1-A 4960 on a photo runby at Montgomery, Illinois on June 20, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This was a fan trip sponsored by the West Chicago Historical Society from West Chicago to Ottawa and return. The fare was $6.00 and diesel powered between West Chicago and Aurora. Note the fan crouching on the bridge just below the trailing truck. There was one guy on every trip that had to get in everyone's photos. |
