| Chicao Burlington & Quincy Railroad 670 at Denver, Colorado on an unknown day in September, 1962, photographer unknown, duplicate slide by Al Chione, Chuck Zeiler collection, Number 670 was built by Pullman March 1, 1917 as a 12-1 sleeper and named Montevaldo ( Lot 4450 Plan 2410F - 12 Sections - 1 Drawing Room ), air-conditioning installed April 27, 1937, rebuilt April 4, 1939 to 6-6 Plan 4074 ( 6 Sections - 6 Double Bedrooms ) and renamed Poplar Flat, sold to the CB&Q December 31, 1948, sold for scrap to Northwestern Steel and Wire in September 1964. |
