| Album Info: | My father was railfanning the SP Sunset Line and happened to hear about this derailment. Apparently, the incident was caused when a transient riding the train uncoupled the car he was on, causing the rest of the train to eventually rear end the first half taking out seventeen cars. The shots mostly show the crews working on the shoo-fly and the first couple trains across it. |
