As evidence, here is an all-GP-30 locomotive consist led by Grande 3022 and 3005, followed by three Union Pacific GP-30's and a GP-30B. Units were pooled between Salt Lake City and Chicago, but the Grande accumulated more off-line mileage than was returned by the Q units. |
