Built in July 1950 as NC&SL SW7 25 (c/n 7434) on EMD Order 6031, sometime after the 1957 merger it became L&N 2125, then L&N 2225, then SBD 2225. The words "Family Lines System" fit neatly in the letterboard gap, the blank space left between the carbody louvers by EMD just for this purpose. |
