Description:
SOO SD40 747 at Forest Park, Illinois on an unknown day in April 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Yeah, I'm being stupid, driving 55 mph and snapping train pictures. At least there's a hospital at the next exit. My objective was the B&O logo on the bridge. The steel bridge in the background carries the Chicago Transit Authority's rails. Nearly 30 years before this photo, the Chicago Aurora & Elgin Railroad rails passed through this location.
