This locomotive was built in January 1951 (c/n 12455) on EMD Order 4071B as MILW 2005B, and appears to have been retired in May 1980, traded and scrapped around October 1980. It has a large box on the hood, which I do not know the purpose of. The unit is stencilled: HUMP CONTROL, perhaps the box contains some apparatus for hump control. The TR4B was basically a SW7 without a cab. |
