Title:  C&WI RS1 256
Description:  Chicago & Western Indiana Railroad RS1 256 at about 47th Street in Chicago, Illinois on May 9, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 256 was built by Alco in November 1949 (c/n 77174), later becoming Genesee & Wyoming 43 sometime after Dearborn Station closed in 1971. The C&WI was the owner of Dearborn Street Station in Chicago and provided switching service for the tenants (Monon, Wabash, Erie and AT&SF).
