Description:  BN SW1200 179 at Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 23, 1984, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Number 179 was built in March 1955 as NP 120 (c/n 20329) on EMD Order 4290, and became BN 179 some time after the merger. At some point it was converted to power Electric Trailer 2, former NP Baldwin VO-660 number 650, rebuild completed in May 1960 by NP's South Tacoma Shops. Note the "skate" radio antenna above the headlight.

Description:  Burlington Northern Railroad ET-2 at Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 23, 1984, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. The assigned master unit was SW1200 179, built in March 1955 as NP 120 ( c/n 29329 ). This Electric Trailer (ET-2) was originally Northern Pacific Baldwin VO-660 128, built in May 1940 ( c/n 62392 ), renumbered to NP 650 in 1956, converted in May 1960 by the NP South Tacoma Shops to Electric Trailer ET-2, became BN ET-2 sometime after March 2, 1970, retired February 22, 1988, retired February 22, 1988, sold to Azcon Corporation in June 1988.
