Description:
Burlington Northern Railroad SD40-2B 7500 at Clyde, Illinois on December 20, 1985, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 7500 was built June 1980 in Canada as BN SD40-2 7221 ( c/n A3930 ), rebuilt in July 1981 to SD40-2B 900B, renumbered to 7500. One source indicates the unit was wrecked at Pasco, Washington in early 1981 and rebuilt at West Burlington.
