This unit was built in February 1944 as C&NW Alco S2 1012 (c/n 69875), renumbered to 1084 (2nd) in December 1971 after the retirement of first 1084, also an Alco S2. It was rebuilt to yard slug BU14, completed in November 1973, placed in service on January 17, 1974, retired May 1, 1979 and scrapped. Somehow it acquired road trucks. |
