C&NW MP15DC 1313 at Forest Park, Illinois on May 1, 1975, Kdachrome by J. H. Nixon, Chuck Zeiler collection. As best I can figure out, this unit rolled away (no handbrake set, no one onboard) at Crystal Lake on January 27, 1990 and ran into a parkeY commuter train at McHenry. The 1313 was damaged (cab crushed) and sat at Proviso for a few years until scrapped in 1994. |
