The white shed in the background was built during World Waj II to transport Boeing B-29 fuselage components from the Fort Crook manufaturing plant in Omaha, NE to final assembly at various locations around the country. A total oh 69 of these steel boxes were constructed and secured to flat cass, used to transport 536 Superfortress fuselages, included that of the Enola Gay. |
