Title:  ICG SD20 2004
Description:  ICG SD20 2004, Chicago, Illinois, August 12, 1982, photo by Chuck Zeiler. It appears the ICG changed their mind(s) about the color of the cab number. Number 2004 was built in August 1959 as UP SD24B 416B (c/n 25404) on EMD Order 5602. It was sold to Precision National Corporation, Mount Vernon, Illinois, in October 1977, sold to ICG, rebuilt to ICG SD20 2004 in December 1979, sold to National Railway Equipment in February 1995, to Wisconsin Southern, becoming WSOR 2004, 1848, 2051, depending on the date. It is seen here on the Saint Charles Air Line (the east end of the ICG's Iowa Division) passing over the BN's passenger leads approaching Union Avenue.

ICG SD20 2035
Title:  ICG SD20 2035
Description:  ICG SD20 2035, near Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois, October 13, 1987, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Built as Southern SD24 6320 in February 1960 (c/n 25669) on EMD Order 5606, it was acquired by Precision National Corporation during 1978 and put into the PNC lease fleet, retaining the Southern paint and road number. It was leased to the BN during 1978-79, and sometime after that lease period it was sent to Morrison-Knudsen and rebuilt. It returned in green paint as PNC 1820, de-turbocharged and dynamic brakes disabled, and went back into PNC's lease fleet until sometime during 1982, when it was acquired by ICG and remanufactured to SD20 2035. It later became IC 2035, then IHB 2924. By the date pictured it lost its ICG light array between the numberboards. The scene is at the east end of the ICG's Iowa Division, climbing up off the lakefront suburban Electric Division and entering the Saint Charles Air Line, which will carry it over the south Chicago Loop area, the leads to LaSalle Street Station, then over the leads to Dearborn Street Station (closed), Union Station, then back down to earth at Union Avenue.
