Title:  METW L8
Description:  Municipal of East Troy Railroad L8 and Dawn at East Troy, Wisconsin circa 1980, Ektachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number L8 was built by The Milwaukee Electric Railway and Light Company at their Cold Springs Shops in 1913 as D27, a double truck utility snow plow, converted in 1935 to L8 and transferred to the Port Washington Power Plant. It was acquired by the Wisconsin Electric Railway Historical Society in 1977.

IATR 30
Title:  IATR 30
Description:  Iowa Terminal Railroad 30 at Charles City, Iowa on an unknown day in August 1965, Kodachrome by unknown photographer, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 30 was built by the McGuire Cummings Company in 1915 as Charles City Western 300. It was equipped with four GE205E traction motors, McG-C10A trucks, MC 101A controls, and weighed 70,000 pounds. It was acquited by the IATR in December 1964. It was sold to the Illinois Railway Museum in March 1970 and shipped in 1972.

GRRY 228
Title:  GRRY 228
Description:  Grand River Railway 228 at Charles City, Iowa on an unknown day in August 1965, Kodachrome by unknown photographer, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 228 was built in 1921 by the Preston Car Company in Preston, Ontario, Canada for the Grand River Railway. The company built two locomotives (#'s 226 and 228) for the GRRY, basically a lower roof, higher hood version of the Baldwin-Westinghouse Class D. The GRRY ceased electric operations on October 1, 1961 and the 228 went to the Iowa Terminal Railway, Mason City, Iowa in July 1963. However, the motor was never repainted or used (was to become Iowa Terminal 82) and was scrapped in 1968.

Title:  BCER 1009 and 992
Description:  British Columbia Electric Railway 1009 and 992 at New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada on September 6, 1950 photographer unknown, duplicate slide by Al Chione, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 1009 was built in 1910, I could not determine the builder. Number 992 was built in 1909 by Dick-Kerr and was originally numbered 913.

CA&E 4006
Title:  CA&E 4006
Description:  Chicago Aurora & Elgin Railroad 4006 at the IHB interchange in Bellwood, Illinois, date and photographer unknown, scanned from a 2¾X4½ print, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 4006 (and 4005, trailing) was built in 1929 in the shops of the Oklahoma Railway as Number 604 (CA&E 4005 was built as Number 603). The pair later served in Coffeyville, Kansas on the Union Electric Railway (#604), then the Cedar Rapids & Iowa City Railway (as #73). The pair was acquired by the CA&E in 1955 and lasted until 1962 when they were scrapped at Wheaton. They weighed 72 tons each.
