Number 9406 was built by Budd in 1954 as CB&Q number 558, part of the Burlington's contribution to the North Coast Limited. It became AMTK 9485, was converted to HEP in June 1983 and renumbered AMTK 9406, sold in April 1995 to Rail Adventures, Inc., named THE OBSERVATORY and assigned number 800290. |
