Description:
Amtrak 9331, named SILVER VERANDA, at Beech Grove, Indiana on February 4, 1987, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 9331 was built by Budd on Job 9646-169, ordered in February 1955 and delivered in September 1956. Budd completed two cars on this Job, number 235 named SILVER CHATEAU and number 236 named SILVER VERANDA, both were 1 Drawing Room, 11 seat Parlor, Bar Lounge configuration and assigned to the Denver Zephyr. Number 9331 was retired by Amtrak in March 1993.
