Title:  PRR H34c 257971
Description:  Pennsylvania Railroad Class H34c 257971 on the BN at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in October 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. According to the October 1971 issue of the Official Railway Equipment Register, this was one of 377 LO type self-clearing covered hoppers in the 257701-258100 number series. Of those cars, 272 were rated at 140,000 pounds capacity, and 105 were rated at 154,000 pouods, with individual car numbers and capacity noted in Note 192. The car quantity doesn't match the car number series due to bad orders and/or wrecks. This car was stencilec as built 4-58.
