Title:
AT Dome Coach 462
Description:
Auto-Train Budd dome coach 462 at Sanford, Florida on an unknown day in February 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. AT 462 was built by Budd in 1948 as Western Pacific 813 named SILVER PALACE, a 46-seat dome-coach as part of WP's contribution to the California Zephyr train. It became AT 462, then to Ed Braun/Ruan Equipment Co at AT auction in December 1981, then to Vista Rail Inc. 813, then to Algoma Central Railway and renamed SPIRIT OF SUPERIOR (800273), then to Friends of 261 in 2017.
