Built as road number 7496 in May 1964 ( c/n 29555 ) on EMD Order 5669, it became 6581 after the 1965 systemwide renumbering. It was rebuilt by Morrison-Knudsen as GP35E 6313 during December 1978, became a UP locomotive in 1996, no UP number assigned, retired by the UP June 30, 1999. |
