Description:
Burlington Northern Railroad SD40 6301 at Clyde, Illinois on an unknown day in October 1979, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built in October 1971 ( c/n 5801-2 ) on EMD Order 5801 for 25 SD40's, it was retired from the BN in October 1987 and became MRL 201 and later MRL 261. Aso seen is SD45 6562, built in May 1967 ( c/n 33183 ) as SLSF 913, retired by the BN in November 1986.
