Description:
The not too often seen end of Chicago Transit Authority 2748 arriving in Chicago on MTTX 95298 at North Avenue in Chicago, Illinois on May 15, 1983, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built by Budd in the early 1980's this was one of!600 cars in the 2601-3200 number series. It will be delivered by the C&NW to the Skokie Shops. I believe the rail connection at Skokie has since been removed and transit cars are now shipped by truck.
