Burlington Northern Railroad SD24 6247 at Clyde, Illinois on an unknown day in January 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 6247 was built in May 1959 as CB&Q 507 (c/n 25204) on EMD Order 5598, became BN 6247 sometime after the March 2, 1970 merger, and was retired in December 1981. Also seen is BN caboose 10121, built as CB&Q waycar class NE13a 13653 in September 1967 by Morrison Division of the International Car Company.
