CRI&P GP7 1278, Burr Oak Yard, Blue Island, Illinois, May, 1976, photo by Steve Downey, Chuck Zeiler collection. Built in November 1952 (c/n 17609) on EMD Order 5155, it was rebuilt to GP7R 4539 and during 1981 became C&NW 4193. It appears the RI did not have a good handle on cooling system maintenance.
