Description:
Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad SD7 305 at Clyde, Illinois on June 6, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built in June 1953 (c/n 18325) on EMD Order 5242, it became BN 5028 and was retired in March 1983. It was equipped with a steam generator. Apparently a shy locomotive, I could not coax it out of the diesel house for a roster photo.
