The following is from the book, CB&Q Color Guide To Freight And Passenger Equipment, by Michael J. Spoor: U. S. Railway Equipment delivered Burlington's first order of coil cars in February 1969. Numbered 83700 - 83704, these five cars wore the pre-merger paint scheme of Cascade green and white lettering. All of these cars were assigned to Youngstown Sheet & Tube in East Chicago.
