Description:
Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 251109 at Lincoln, Nebraska on an unknown day in May 1957, photographer unknown, duplicate slide by Al Chione, Chuck Zeiler collection. Number 211239 was built by Brill in 1882 as a coach on unknown road number, renumbered to C&S coach 47, renumbered in 1906 to C&S 405, converted in February 1907 to Office Car 2nd 100, renumbered in 1910 to 902, purchased by the CB&Q on November 20, 1946 and renumbered to 2nd CB&Q 67, converted to rail detector outfit car 251109 in January 31, 1951, assigned ( along with baggage car 250855 ) to detector set 9050/2. It is listed in Burlington Route Historical Society Burlington Bulletin 17 as dismantled on April 9, 1959.
