Number 4714 was built by Budd on Job 96119, one of three coaches ordered in February 1940, delivered in June 1940. Number 4714 was a 52 seat coach named SILVER ALCHEMY. During 1945, 4714 was rebuilt at the Aurora shops becoming the first modern vista-dome car and was re-named SILVER DOME. |
