Description:
CB&Q XM-5 9837 at Cicero, Illinois on an unknown day in June 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This was one of 50 class XM-5 60'9" inside length auto parts boxcars (CB&Q #'s 9800-9849, BN #'s 390000-390049) built by Pullman-Standard for the CB&Q in October 1963. When built, they were painted in the Burlington's Chinese Red paint scheme.
