Title:  CB&Q 4709
Description:  Rail Dome Corporation's former Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad 4709, named SILVER CASTLE, at Overland Park, Kansas on an unknown day in April 1980, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. This car was built by Budd on Job 96115, one of six 52 seat coaches ordered in February 1940, delivered in June 1940. During June 1949 in was rebuilt in CB&Q's Aurora Shops as a duplicate to "pattern" dome 4714, originally named SILVER ALCHEMY, another pre-war coach rebuilt in July 1945 as the first dome car and renamed SILVER DOME. The 4709 became BN 3480, then AMTK 9400, retired by Amtrak in October 1977, sold to Building Leasing Corp but not moved - resold 1978 to Tom Johnson/Rail Dome Corp 9400, for Branson Scenic Railroad. Stored in Kansas City and noted as listed for sale as of January 2006.
