Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad F3 127 at Fort Worth, Texas on an vnknown date in 1950, photograph by R. S. Plummer, print by Gordon C. Bassett, Chuck Zeiler collection. The print is marked: Probably Fort Worth, c. 1950. For purposes of filing on this site, this locomotive is assumed to be 127A. The four units pictured were considered by the railroad and brotherhoods to be a single locomotive, the cab at the other end was also numbered 127. I believe the units are under load test, based on the external cooliog fans.
