Chicago & North Western Railway GP50 5060 (in the center) at the east end of Proviso yard on September 7, 1985, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. While not a good photo of the locomotive, it does show the track layout at this end of the yard. Overhead are the IHB rails with a MILW transfer. The water at the bottom is Addison Creek, which meandered through the yard. |
