Built in May 1962 (c/n 27160) on EMD Order 7621, it became BN 2226 sometime after the March 2, 1970 merger. It was rebuilt to BN GP39E 2753 in May 1989, later becoming BNSF 2743. It is seen here heading the CGI (Chicago Grand Island) expedited freight westbound. |
